Tinto Taal is specialized in technical translations from Italian, French and English into Dutch. After finishing my translation studies in Maastricht I started as a project manager in a medical translation company, where I gained my knowledge in the medical field. I became a fulltime translator in 2002 and gained my experience in the technical field by translating large technical manuals for the Italian automotive industry, ceramic industry, building industry and manuals for all kind of machines. I like to combine these two specialisations with the translation of medical equipment.
Apart from these specialisations, I very much enjoy doing translations for which a certain amount of creativity is needed, for example: commercials, advertising compaigns, childrens stuff, opera lyrics, poems, quotes and sayings, recipes, cooking, wine, touristic information, spirituality, etc.

In the past few years I've done a lot of translation work for fitness equipment & sport nutrition and I've done a great amount of translation work in the field of spirituality/mindfulness.
