My career started at KOTRA, a Korean government agency, where I translated corporate financial documents and international marketing materials daily. While studying in Finland for an MA in Education, I became proficient in subtitling software such as Subtitle Edit, and learned how to timestamp audio and video files, create .srt files, and make transcription files in a variety of formats such as .doc and .pdf.
I leveraged these new skills by translating in-flight media clips for major Korean airlines. I also translated popular Korean entertainment shows to be aired to an international audience, which I continue to do to this day.
Having established a platform on websites such as Fiverr (link below), I now translate and subtitle content for several business clients, translation agencies, and YouTubers. To help my clients communicate effectively and successfully in a range of fields (personal development, science and technology, sport and fitness etc.), I translate everything from instruction manuals and lifestyle blogs, to marketing videos and promotional interview clips.
