I have been working as an interpreter since 2006, and I love this job.
I see three things as must-haves for an interpreter: accountability, language skills, and the ability to learn. These are the qualities in myself that I am always trying to hone.
I believe the way you use a language should be like the way its native speakers do. That is my ultimate goal as an interpreter.
