U kunt gaan kajakken langs de indrukwekkende kustlijn van Carmarthen Bay, kanoën op één van de beste trajecten in Wales, of fietsen langs één van de beste mountain bike routes in Groot-Brittannië, de Raven Trail in Brechfa Forest. U kunt dagtochtjes maken naar de Nationale Botanische Tuin van Wales (National Botanic Garden of Wales) waar u o.a. een kas met de grootste enkelvoudige overspanning ter wereld vindt, Pembrey Country Park en zijn bijna 13 kilometer lange prijswinnende strand, Groot-Brittannië’s nieuwste renbaan, de National Hunt Race Course ‘Ffos Las’ (met gratis toegang voor kinderen), het park Dinefwr waar al 1,000 jaar een kudde met White Park vee graast, en de National Wetland Centre Wales waar u zelf vogels kunt voeren.
