I am again using Swordfish (mac), which is a tool I quite like.

I don't know if my tm is way too big – it's called BigMamma for one reason. I have been trying to translate a very small file, some 400 words in Excel. Import was fine, TM creation was fine. But, no sooner I confirm the first segment than the beachball starts rolling and I have to force quit. I am giving up.

Latest SW build, latest Sierra build, and lots of RAM on my iMac.

Thanks for any help.

Clean database Sep 25, 2017

If you suspect it has to do with your database, do as follows:

1) Export your database as TMX
2) Create a new database
3) Import the TMX into the new database
4) Select the new database for TM searches and disable the old one
5) Set the new database as write-enabled

If this solves the issue, delete the old database. Otherwise, contact [email protected]
