And funny thing when you search for ProZ on PlayStore, the results are all other freelancers platforms, but not ProZ.

You have, but I'm indeed not interested in chasing a carrot on a stick. I'm very interested to see the finished product, though. But I see I'll have to wait several months for that, apart from the several months that have already passed. So I suppose the answer to my question if there is a time window, is simply no. Hi, everyone!

I hope that you are all having a good week.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience with the app, and we in the team really appreciate your patience!

While the new site is a project that will take several months, we are working hard to make some key areas functional on the new version, so that ProZ members can start using that new version.

The job search and job quoting, as well as the profile updater, are among our priorities, and if members are up for it, we'd love for you to test out the current versions —which are, of course, a work in progress.

If any of you would like to take a look on your own time, or to have a call with me to spend 10-15 minutes testing it together, feel free to respond in this thread or message me directly, and I'll share a link with you.

(Lieven, I believe that we've already sent you an invite to test the new site so, of course, if you're not interested or have already taken a look around, no pressure! And thank you!)

The irony is that this site is promoting the most "advanced" CAT tools and similar software, but when it's their own website in question, it's okay that can't be opened on mobile phones, or that the app isn't working. Probably they can't copy paste someone else's code for that new website, they must hire web and app developers, but they are cheap, and they don't want to do it.

Hi everybody,

Since that the app is not available anymore on Google Play, you can download an older version from another site and then use it on your android phone.

This is what I did, I downloaded from this site: [url removed]
Then I installed it on my phone, signed in on my ProZ account and everything is fine.

PS: you may receive a message like virus alert when you install it, but I checked the installation, and it's virus free.

I searched on every forum on internet and eventually end up fixing this by attempting to fix the "This app is currently not available in your country or region" message on your iPhone, but here are a few important points to consider it:-
1. Respecting App Store policies:- Bypassing App Store restrictions to access unavailable apps might violate Apple's terms of service and could potentially harm your device or data.

I use Android, and on Google Play Store this app isn't available for my device due to the app having been developed for older Android versions. This is particularly annoying because I received an e-mail about the app, like why send me an e-mail if the app hasn't been updated for the last 5 years?

I don't use ProZ.com official app. But if this is just [url= [url removed] ]geo-blocking[/url] nonsense, you can easily bypass it with a VPN.

As already reported to the Proz.com staff, the Proz app (iphone, for sure) is not available in some countries, like Italy.

Could someone give an answer about when it will be available again?

It is a disadvantage for many of us.

This is an issue with the Mobile app. I am not aware of such restriction for the website.
